Photo Sharing products allow us to privately and easily publish, share, and comment on our favorite snapshots. Some products have different restrictions on sizes (which affects how nice your photos look) and controls (which affect how sure you can be that your photos are only seen by those who you want them to be seen by).

If you want an easy, well-known way to share photos that's integrated into the rest of your daily life - then go for it with Facebook. But I never know if my photos will pop up somewhere I don't want them to. And granting access to my photos to people also in my Facebook network can confuse things. And I'm liable to mess up my entire privacy situation then. Also, I don't like how hard it is to recover the high resolution version of photos once they're on Facebook. But one upside is that you can just throw SO many photos on Facebook and they'll never stop you.

Picasa is easy to use. It's great that it's a part of Google because it just feels more integrated into my life, even though I don't use Google Plus right now or any of its social tools. It's important for uploading to be easy and fast, and Picasa achieves this.

Yogile is all right. It fits the specific use case of sending a link around to everyone and getting them to email/upload photos after an event to get everything together in one place. Used it after my sister's wedding since 1) Facebook wasn't private 2) Picasa and Flickr seemed to require accounts

Picasa is a great tool. Very safe to use and navigate. I would maybe not be so delighted about the platform that is not very user friendly and appealing for users.

Why is the Overall highest rated product not necessarily 'The Best Product'?
The 'Overall' rating is a general rating. The Best Product is based on how important each of the 5 criteria is to a user. In order to personalize the recommendation, we do not factor in the 'Overall' rating.
Where does this data come from?
Our ratings are based on 2 things: our TechPolish community (you!) and the TechPolish team. Users rate products. Our team rates every product. We sign up, test products out, ask friends what they think, speak with the product creators, and then give our expert opinion. Read more about us here. We balance the two and generate the aggregate ratings, which is the basis for the numbers you see and recommended product.
