File Sharing products allow users to sync files in 'the cloud', allowing remote access either for the individual or for a group of selected individuals. These services often integrate seamlessly with a user's desktop but are also available via the web and mobile devices. Finally we can access files when on-the-go, and do not have to send new versions of files back and forth with our collaborators.

Very reliable, cloud-based storage server. Has the easiest and most intuitive interface. Very easily synced with Apple products. Makes for easy browsing and storing of books, films, photos, and more.

File sharing that focuses on NOT having the user download your easily-shared file. Sort of a hybrid between Minus and SlideShare/Scribd

Dropbox is great. Simple to use. Always reliable in my experience. The user experience is really smooth and intuitive. They have emerged as the market leader in many ways, and I can understand why. I do wish they would give me more free space, but I can't be greedy! Love the service.

On most measures, Minus is great. Lots of free space (10gb), slick UX, and just a cool product (love the drag and drop functionality). But overall, I don't feel like it's ready to compete with the big boys (e.g. Dropbox and Box) yet. Some more years under its belt, and more guarantees on security, and I'm an unqualified fan!

Been using dropbox since it came out and have never had a problem. It's mobile apps work like a charm. Also the ability to recover a file that was deleted has saved me countless times at work.Recently upgraded to Dropbox for teams at my company (21 person startup) and have had no complaints from anyone.

Dropbox is absolutely fantastic. The fact that users can easily share files with each other and developers can create DropBox apps with their API and get access to essential user files is really well thought out. It's a reliable and well-designed servie.

Why is the Overall highest rated product not necessarily 'The Best Product'?
The 'Overall' rating is a general rating. The Best Product is based on how important each of the 5 criteria is to a user. In order to personalize the recommendation, we do not factor in the 'Overall' rating.
Where does this data come from?
Our ratings are based on 2 things: our TechPolish community (you!) and the TechPolish team. Users rate products. Our team rates every product. We sign up, test products out, ask friends what they think, speak with the product creators, and then give our expert opinion. Read more about us here. We balance the two and generate the aggregate ratings, which is the basis for the numbers you see and recommended product.
